Homebound: Al Nasr, Viking 1 and Jawhart

Back on home grounds

The vessels moved to West Africa when security in the region made fishing closer to the Sultanate of Oman difficult. Now they are back, and the new season is underway.

Al Nasr went straight into maintenance in Duqm when she arrived and will soon rejoin the fleet at sea. Viking 1 and Jawhart have already started operations.

The vessels know these waters well. Earlier this year, they helped other Rawanq vessels in Oman, including during a coordinated search operation south of Duqm. With all three home, that capacity is back where our crews and shore teams already work.

Duqm keeps things moving

Our warehouse and staff in Duqm handle everything on shore, from people and equipment to supplies. They have been busy with Al Nasr since August and are ready to keep all three vessels turning around quickly and getting back to sea.

Good to have them home

This is both an operational milestone and a homecoming. With Al Nasr, Viking 1 and Jawhart back in home waters, we are heading into the season with confidence in our crews, our shore teams and the opportunities ahead.
